That's the reson why I was hesitant to share ready-to-go code here lately. But I'm not cool with people using it for their professional work and income without even asking, giving credit or somehow considering to make it a win-win situation. ![]() Please don't get me wrong, I'm totally happy to support noprofit projects like Burning Man artcars or Makerfaire installations or individuals making stuff at home for themselfes and their friends. With all humbleness I'm aware that the animations I'm doing have a better visual quality than what 95% of professionally paid led artists do. So no fancy production, no wasting the audiences time talking bullshit, not insulting the audience by talking half an hour about nothing just to maximize watchtime, not repeating myself 5 times. I am not a Youtuber or content creator and don't desire to become one. I work a lot in different fields (all unrelated to lights / leds) and I'm doing fine. To put this in perspective: I have a pretty busy life and time is money. ![]() ![]() Referral links to used hardware on Amazon? Patreon? Discord? Any suggestions that adress my concern are appreciated! The audience will be quite small, so Youtube ad revenue will be zero (I don't even qualify for monetarization). Considering that this project will be quite time consuming and I have little free time already I wonder if there is any good way to monetize the project somehow - so that at least the invested time is compensated a little.
